  52.   Unzip everything to some temporary directory.
  53.   I recommend using Remove-It or WinDelete to install this program,
  54.     because it will be difficult to remove since it sticks in a bunch
  55.     of files into your system directory and may modify your config.sys
  56.     and/or system.ini
  57.   Run setup.exe and follow the on screen directions.

  61.   It sounds like a pretty awkward program, and the dod.nfo file basically
  62.   says that its for home purchasing help.  However, its really a pretty
  63.   decent program and worth a try if you own your own home.

  65.   Key Negotiator has four main features for managing your home; buying,
  66.   selling, remodeling, and building.  It has a very thorough help file
  67.   (defines Freddie Mac and Fannie May for you :) and the interface is
  68.   extremely easy to use.

  70.   Basically, this application guides you step by step through buying,
  71.   selling, etc. a home to make the process as simple as possible.  If
  72.   you've ever used Turbo Tax, an excellent tax management program, you'll
  73.   like the interface offered by Key Negotiator.

  83. ║ This application is for the most part, extremely user friendly, with a ║
  84. ║ few blatant exceptions.  During installation, it copies a number of    ║
  85. ║ files into your system directory instead of having it placed in its own║
  86. ║ directory.  This makes uninstalling it a pain unless you have an       ║
  87. ║ installation monitoring program, I recommend Remove-It for Windows.    ║
  88. ║ Another slight problem is the long introduction screen which gives it a║
  89. ║ shareware-like "nag" screen.  Otherwise, the help file is very         ║
  90. ║ detailed, explains everything you would ever want to know about the    ║
  91. ║ real estate business and the interface is nicely done.                 ║

  100. ║ This program takes a lot of time to load up, and gives you a boring    ║
  101. ║ intro screen on how this program is copyrighted.  Then you have to hit ║
  102. ║ okay in the About Box, which hurts the user friendliness of this       ║
  103. ║ program a little, but affects the speed a lot.  It also loads up a     ║
  104. ║ graphics server program, and uses up 8% of resources and 700k RAM.     ║

  116. ║ was released by SCUM, this program is much smaller in total size.      ║

  127. ║ large, informative help file.  What's especially helpful is the        ║
  128. ║ definition of a lot of the jargon used by realtors, contractors, etc.  ║
  129. ║ and you'll actually understand if a person is ripping you off.  There  ║
  130. ║ are also some tidbits of vital information to save you money and time. ║

  140. ║ screen, where the files are placed, and the bothersome "press okay"    ║
  141. ║ every time you start the program.  However, considering its version    ║
  142. ║ 1.0.05, its a pretty good application.  It covers all the basics,      ║
  143. ║ simply and effectively, for managing your home and even has some extra ║
  144. ║ information you never knew about.                                      ║

  149.   Well, my Windows system is still quite unstable; had every DOS program
  150.   crash on me, File Manager is screwed up, and SideBar died on me as well.
  151.   In addition, I've got final exams, which explains why it took me so long 
  152.   to finish this utility review <g>.

  154.   This application may sound pretty dumb and some people will probably never
  155.   need it.  However, if you're even considering remodeling, buying, selling,
  156.   or building a home in the near future, this application is vital.  There
  157.   should be no reason not to get this program if you are one of those people,
  158.   since its small and very simple to use.

  160.   For people who aren't really interested in doing all of the above, pass it
  161.   along to a friend <g>.  Another idea would be to look at the help file, so
  162.   you'll have a better understanding of the real estate business.  It will
  163.   definitely help you in the future.
